Here it is guys! The official announcement of the dance battle on the 2008 Teen Choice Awards between ACDC and the M&M Cru. Here’s some info about it:
On Monday, August 4th 2008 there will only be ONE standing. Be a witness to history as the BIGGEST ONLINE DANCE BATTLE IN THE HISTORY OF YOUTUBE becomes the BIGGEST LIVE DANCE BATTLE IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND.
TEEN CHOICE AWARDS is the event.
Gibson Amphitheater is the venue.
And there WILL be a winner determined that night.
What began as a fun dance battle ends face to face. So mark it in your calendars as the ACDC and the M&M CRU go head to head.
Millions will watch as we finally take this battle from ONLINE to PRIMETIME.
Miranda Cosgrove recently talked to MYV about her album iCarly and her dreams for her upcoming one.
“Actually, with the ‘iCarly’ soundtrack, I didn’t get to write any of the songs. I just picked songs that meant a lot to me that I really liked.
Now, for my own CD, I’ve been co-writing and getting really into it. It’s still pop-rock fun music like the ‘iCarly’ soundtrack, but I think it’s a little more mature. They’re love songs and just fun songs about hanging out with your girlfriends.”
I am looking forward to seeing something a little more “mature” as she calls it, from Miranda. I think this girl is really headed to the top. She can act, sing, she’s hilarious…..

This aired in the UK just before H2O was shown there. It’s called “The Making of H2O Just Add Water”. This show has gotten really popular and I know a lot of fans of the show. The video is in two parts.
Monsters and Critics have a long review of the Superhero DVD, which our very own Drake Bell stars in. I have not seen the movie, but would like to, just because of Drake Bell.
Here are a few quotes from the review which involve Drake Bell’s character Rick Ricker:
“Rick is trying to impress her as their class tours on a tour of the research facility of the millionaire Lou Landers (Christopher McDonald), who is also Lance’s uncle. A genetically altered dragonfly escapes and bites Rick. He develops superpowers from the bite and dons a costume to combat evil as the Dragonfly.”
Sounds interesting.
“Drake Bell has honed his over-the-top acting skills on shows that my kids watch and it’s about the same in this film.“
He is definitely good at over-the-top and the show he is referring to is obviously Drake and Josh. The critic mentions that a sequel is already in the works. I imagine Drake Bell will reprise his role as the green superhero.

On August 4th, the 2008 Teen Choice Awards will air on FOX and there will be a dance battle between the two dance crews.
The epic online dance battle between Miley Cyrus’ and Mandy Jiroux’s M&M Cru and ACDC, the dance crew featuring Jon M. Chu and Adam Sevani of “Step Up 2: The Streets” is about to declare a winner when the two crews face-off at TEEN CHOICE 2008 airing Monday, Aug. 4 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Host Miley Cyrus will also perform her new single “7 Things,” joining previously announced performer Mariah Carey, who will perform her latest single “I’ll Be Lovin’ You Long Time.”
A long list of celebs, including Teen Nick star Drake Bell, are set to appear. Here’s the list:
Shia LaBeouf, Rachel Bilson, David Cook, Channing Tatum, David Archuleta, Lil Mama, LL Cool J, Demi Lovato, James Marsden, Katharine McPhee, Leighton Meester and Jordin Sparks will join the celebration of the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion.
